Reigning Days: Eclipse

Reigning Days, Eclipse

2018 is set to be a year of revolution when it comes to the rock genre and nothing screams revolution like Eclipse, the debut album by Reigning Days.

The record, made up of fourteen awesome tracks, starts up with a kick in the form of Empire. The immediate onslaught of heavy riffage and the rhythmic pounding of drums combines with meaningful lyrics to create the perfect introduction from this soon to be legendary trio.

The killer riffs and drums continue throughout the album, and the music is only intensified further by Dan Steer’s passionate vocals. The band’s power is emphasised even more by the ear-bursting volume of each track – Reigning Days are LOUD and their amplified noise will really get your heart racing.

The album finishes on a high note with Sound Of The Future, a song which once again channels the band’s fervour perfectly. It explores the band’s thoughts about the future, fusing feelings of confusion and awe. It’s an appropriate and relevant conclusion to Eclipse.

Whether you’re a rock veteran or one of the new brigade, Reigning Days are a band you want to get behind. This debut certainly cements their place as a brilliant up and coming British act.

Eclipse is out Friday 13th April via Marshall Records.
