One of 2020’s most important records has landed!
It’s IMPOSSIBLE to explain quite how important music has been to me over the last few weeks. I am sooooo grateful to all the artists for continuing to unleash new songs. I have listened and I have listened and I have listened. Thanks to my favourite bands and singers, my life feels as full as ever. Here’s a review of one of April’s best releases:
Our Last Night: Lost (Epitaph)
This is a new version of a song that first appeared on last year’s Overcome The Darkness and it’s going to bring all the mixed-up emotions you’ve got brewing in you right to the surface. So, yeah, maybe best not to listen in public. Not that you can listen in public. Perhaps that’s why the band have re-released – everyone blasting this song on their headphones right now can burst into tears without feeling embarrassed. No one is watching. Not that any of us should feel ashamed of our feelings! And that’s kind of the point of this song – it tells us how much we need people in our lives that we can connect openly and honestly with. Hopefully some of those people are in your house right now. Play them Lost. They’ll all LOVE this supercharged, super-accessible tear-jerker.
